Mustering the herd

At some point in the investment cycle you begin to question yourself. It’s only natural. This is because it takes so long, which means there is a lot of time to think.

You ask yourself whether things might turn out differently from what you thought they would. Invariably, things will evolve somewhat differently than you or I think, but they can still remain materially as expected. However, the doubt creeps in and has you asking yourself whether you’re completely wrong.

That’s the joy of standing at odds with the world.
